This is a bit hard to troubleshoot since the CG3000DCR is using a firmware from Comcast itself. The things you need to check is if the Genius VeriFone CC is using (defined to the device) the ports you have opened. Port 443 (HTTPS) and 21 FTP are very common ports,I am not sure why you are using 7622 for FTP though. Comcast's IP Gateway is all you need to take advantage of a static IP and built-in firewall.
